Léa Tirard-Hersant|16 - Au restaurant (2/4): There's Cheese in the Cocktails | 30+ French Drink & Dining Phrases
Par cœur — French by Heart is an immersive French-learning podcast created and hosted by Léa Tirard-Hersant, a linguist trained at Sorbonne Paris IV University, French tutor with more than 10,000 hours taught, and creator and producer of the French-learning audio series Le Vignoble.
Par cœur teaches French through stories, voices, characters, repetition, and real-life language.
Rather than listening to a single host explain French from behind a microphone, you step into original stories set in France, brought to life by multiple voices and recurring characters: Claire, Etienne, Brice, Malik and more. Conversations unfold in Paris apartments, restaurants, streets, workplaces, parks and family homes, surrounded by immersive, cinematic sound effects designed to make each situation easier to picture — and the language easier to remember.
Alongside Léa’s own voice, Par cœur uses ElevenLabs AI voice tools to create additional characters and voices, allowing its stories to sound more like scenes from an audio drama than a conventional solo-host language podcast.
