WIDLIMS - What I Didn't Learn in Medical School
Linda from WIDLIMS
In a nutshell, WIDLIMS is a platform for discussing topics crucial to health which are not taught, glossed over or approached from the wrong angles in medicine and public discourse. The host Linda's knowledge – as a final year medical student – combined with valuable input from guests provides you with accessible and most importantly empowering evidence-based information on topics within the field of lifestyle medicine. In addition, you can expect in-depth mental health discussions, for example when considering body image & disordered eating in diet culture, as well as health inequalities due to variables such as race & gender which affect health behaviours and outcomes. We'll also discuss specific health conditions such as acne, anxiety and anorexia. DISCLAIMER: this podcast is for educational & entertainment purposes only.
