Strategy Founder Michael Saylor Talks US Regulation Helping Bitcoin

Michael Saylor, founder and executive chairman of Strategy Inc., joined Bloomberg's Tim Stenovec and Carol Massar on "Bloomberg Crypto" to discuss how Bitcoin is entering a new bull market supported by friendlier U.S. regulation, rising banking adoption, and growth in tokenized securities. He framed Bitcoin as “digital capital” delivering roughly 40% annualized returns since 2020 and forecast 20–30% annual growth over the next two decades, with prices returning above $100,000 this cycle. Saylor defended Strategy’s small June Bitcoin sale as necessary “structured finance” to support its high-yield digital credit product, targeting 10–12% returns. He dismissed potential MSCI index exclusion as minor and said stalled federal legislation actually removed restrictive provisions, allowing more favorable agency guidance to drive industry expansion. Fed’s Christopher Waller Talks Higher Yields, Inflation

In a conversation with Bloomberg's Saleha Mohsin at the Bloomberg's New Economic Forum, Waller said higher yields are "doing a little bit of the work" of tighter monetary policy, although that isn't the Fed's intention.
